Caring for a piano in Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv has humid sea air for much of the year. Humidity makes the soundboard swell and the pitch drift, so pianos here usually need tuning twice a year. Keep your piano away from windows, air conditioner vents and outside walls, and consider a dehumidifier in the summer.
