Who we are

Tune In Time (Sinay Elihay) runs the website tuneintime.com and the Tune In Time: Piano Tuner app for Android and iOS. Questions about this policy or your data: selihay@yahoo.com.

The piano tuner app

Microphone: the app uses your phone's microphone only while the tuner screen is open, to measure the pitch of your piano. Audio is analysed on your phone in real time and immediately discarded. It is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

Your pianos and tuning results: the pianos you save, their names and their measurements are kept on your phone. The current version has no account and does not upload them.

Usage statistics and crash reports: the app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They record which screens and features are used (for example, that a health check was completed, its verdict and average deviation in cents) and details of crashes, together with device information such as the phone model and operating system and a random app-installation identifier. They never include audio, your name, email, or the names you give your pianos. You can turn them off at any time in the app's Settings. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

No ads: the app contains no advertising.

The website

Booking form: when you ask us to tune or service a piano, we collect the details you enter (name, address, city, region, country, phone and email) and which page you came from. We use them only to contact you about your request.

Analytics: the website uses Google Tag Manager, which may load analytics tools that use cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with anyone except the service providers that host our website and database.

How long we keep data and your rights

We keep booking requests for as long as we need them to provide and follow up on the service, and delete them when you ask.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to selihay@yahoo.com.

Children

Our website and app are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

When the app gains new features that handle data, such as accounts, cloud sync or purchases, we will update this policy before they are released and change the date above.
