Caring for a piano in Tiberias
Tiberias has long, very hot summers and often muggy air. A piano here keeps moving between humid outdoor air and dry, air-conditioned air indoors, which strains the soundboard and shifts the pitch. Run the air conditioner steadily rather than on and off, keep the piano out of its draft, and plan on two tunings a year.
